Sister Rosetta Knaus, SSSF, “Sister Leonilda” 87, passed away Friday Feb. 6, 2009 at St. Joseph conven tin Campbellsport. She was born on Sept. 19, 1921 in Johnsburg the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Nett Knaus. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1940 and professed her vows on June 21, 1942. She served her community as a teacher. Sister Rosetta is the beloved sister of Louisa Meier of Chilton and Claude (Doris) Knaus of Chilton. She is further survived by her Sister-in-law Margie Knaus of Johnsburg, nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 68 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Feb. 11, 2009 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport.
