William (Bill) Murphy passed away on Sunday February 15, 2009 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. Bill was born on February 14, 1955 the son of Joseph and Harriet Stanchfield Murphy. Bill graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1974. He lived in Campbellsport for most of his life and for the past two years he resided at the Lori Knapp Home in Fond du Lac. Bill was a special person who loved auctions, collecting things, nature, animals and most of all his Mom Harriet Murphy. He had a neat sense of humor, despite all the challenges and illnesses in his life He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Murphy and his brother Daniel Murphy. He is survived by his mother Harriet Murphy of Kewaskum his siblings, Katherine Murphy (Howard Mezera) of Oshkosh, Patrick (Charlotte) Murphy of Boyers, PA, Maureen (Paul) Mezera of Campbellsport and Phillip (Susan) Murphy of Campbellsport, his nieces and nephews: Molly, Beth, Megan, Mike and Billy. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport with a simple burial service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Doug Birr officiating. Burial will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
