Sister Rita Bleidorn, SSSF, “Sister Miriam Joseph” 82 passed away Thursday April 2, 2009 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. Sister was born on May 22, 1926 in Racine the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Hamacher Bleidorn. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis Community on June 13, 1948 and professed her vows on June 21, 1950. Sister Rita served her community as a teacher, in pastoral care and doing clerical work at various community missions. Sister Rita is the beloved sister of Eugene (Mary Agnes) Bleidorn of Brookfield and Dolores Sanders of Grand Blanc. MI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 61 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues. April 7, 2009 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport.
