Roger B. Margelofsky, 62 of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 15 2009 at home. He was born in Fond du Lac on Sept. 16, 1946 the son of LeRoy and Adeline Wondra Margelofsky. Roger served his country in the Air Force from 1964 until 1967 in the Vietnam conflict. On August 10, 1968 he married Linda Ashenmacher at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Hartford. Roger graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 1982 and attended Marquette University for one year. Roger was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and the Disabled American Veterans. Roger is the loving husband of Linda, cherished father of Lora (Mark) Ehlert of New Berlin and Patrick(Jenny) of Fond du Lac, proud grandpa of Jamie and Dustin Ehlert, dear brother of David of Lomira, Denis (Dawn) of Fond du Lac and Janet (Darwin) Backhaus of Mayville. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leon and sister Carol Pankow. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 20 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church 1600 S. Main Street in Fond du Lac. Rev. Michael Zuberbier will officiate and burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 2 PM in Hartford with military rites performed by the Hartford American Legion/VFW.
