Helen Rose Pelischek

Helen Pelischek, 79, of Campbellsport passed away on Friday June 5, 2009 at Manor Care in Fond du Lac. She was born on April 9, 1930 in Chilton, the daughter of the late Frank and Etta Skaen King. On Aug. 21, 1954 she married Jerome A. Pelischek at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena. Helen was a graduate of Chilton High School and UW- Oshkosh. She taught school at a number of places before beginning her long tenure at Campbellsport High School in 1961. Helen taught college prep English and coached the forensic team for many years. She was also involved with the Drama Department at CHS; directing the Senior Class Play and also assisted in Lion’s Club plays and the CYO musicals in Campbellsport. Survivors include her children Jeff (Patti), Chuck (Sandy) all of Campbellsport, Patrick (Julie) Plymouth, MN and Jayne (Tom) Wisse of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Jerome, Tyler, Meaghan, Josh, Paige, Amber and Justin, her great granddaughter Hailee, her sisters Alice Mae Geske of Milwaukee, Kathryn (Ed) Eldredge of Cedarburg and Janie (Sully) Sullivan of Oswego, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry on July 22, 2004, two sisters Carol and Mary and her brother George. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 9th at 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Carol Ferber will officiate and cremation will follow. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral Home.
