Mary “Marian” J. Buerger, 93, a resident of St. Clare Terrace in Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Friday July 31, 2009 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born in Ashford on Feb. 2, 1916 the daughter of the late Matthew and Josephine (nee Brill) Hurt. On Oct. 23, 1937, she married Gerald F. Buerger at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Brownsville area until retiring. Marian was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. Survivors include her sons Robert (Sadie) of Delafield, James of Campbellsport, Kenneth (Mary) of Lomira, David (Vicki) of Lomira and Jerry of Houston, TX, her grandchildren Kyle Buerger, Sarah Buerger-Hamer, Diane Coulter, Lara Parr, Duane Buerger, Kari Brueger, Kim Buerger, Brock Buerger, Molly Buerger, Dan Buerger, Patrick Buerger, Carmella Webster, John Buerger, Scott Buerger and Doug Buerger and twenty great grandchildren, her half brother William Bach of Mayville and her sister-in-law Dolores Buerger of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald on Nov. 2, 2001, her sister Ann Tharp, a great grandchild Courtney Coulter and four half brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday August 4th at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett St. Fond du Lac. Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate and entombment will follow in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
