Quintin Cyril Pierquet

June 10, 1929 — August 17, 2009

Quintin C. Pierquet, 80, of Dotyville passed away Monday August 17, 2009 at the St. Francis Home with his family gathered around him. He was born in Green Bay on June 10, 1929 the son of the late Anton and Laura Kriescher Pierquet. Quintin served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1950 until 1953 in the Korean War. On August 23, 1952 he married Marion Baganz at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dotyville. Quintin was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hill Parish, the Marine Corp. League and the American Legion of Mt. Calvary. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife Marion, two sons: Mark (Pamela) of Mt. Calvary and James (Carolyn) of Fond du Lac, two daughters: Jacklynn (John) Flesch of Elkhart Lake and Jill (Dan) Mayer of Eden, 2 daughter-in-laws: Marie and Mary Pierquet both of Mt. Calvary, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 brothers: Marvin of Denmark, Clem (Lucille) of Green Bay and Jerome “Mose” of Algoma, 5 Sisters: Doloris (Ray) Heyerman, Shirley (Jim) Morgan, Loreen (Larry) Cumbers, Katie LaLuzerne and Myrna (Robert) Pasterski all of Green Bay, 3 sister-in-laws: Betty Pierquet of Sturgeon Bay, Helen and Delores Pierquet both of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sons: Robert, Gary and David, 5 brothers: Clayton, Cletus, LeRoy, Anthony and Cyril and 2 sisters: Rita Raleigh and Bernice Christianson and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday August 20th at 12:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate with burial and military rites performed by the American Legion Post 75 at St. Michael’s Cemetery Dotyville. Friends may call on Wednesday August 19th at the Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Avenue Fond du Lac from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Vigil Service at 6 PM and Thursday at the church from 10:00 to 12:00 PM.
