Gene R. Mueller, 72, of Manor Hill Park, Eden, passed away Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 30, 1936 in Milwaukee, the son of Ruth and Walter Mueller. He graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee. On July 10th, 1992, he married Debra K Stephanie. He served in the US Army active duty for 6 months and then served 6 ½ years in the Army Reserve. He was an avid fisherman and loved taking care of his flowers. He especially loved his pet rats, Lucky and Bengi. Gene is survived by his wife, Debra of Eden, daughter, Susie (William) Murphy of Richfield, his granddaughter, Alyssa, sister, Joyce Siewert of Greendale, mother-in-law Anna Marie Stephanie of Wausaukee, 2 sister-in-laws, Chris (Michael) Conrad of Fond du Lac, Cindy (Barry) Hauerwas of Racine, 2 brother-in-laws, Marty (Barb) Stephanie of Pulaski, Rodney Stephanie of Wausaukee, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Gene was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Walter, father-in-law Martin Stephanie and brother-in-law Kevin Stephanie. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 7PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac.
