Dan Peters went peacefully home to be with the Lord Oct. 27, 2009 ate the age of 44 after his long struggle with lung-brain cancer. He was born in West Bend, lived in Hartford married Wendy Braatz then they resided in Fond du Lac. He is joined with his father Linus Peters who passed away from cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Wendy Braatz Peters, mother Christine Peters, sister Leah Peters and daughter Jazzelle Peters of West Bend. Dan enjoyed racing at Slinger Speedway like his father did, painted at RT Speed shop, was a Harley enthusiast, loved building model trains with such precision. Enjoyed working with his hands, had a very artistic eye, took much pride in his work. Loved the outdoors. Dan was a kind man always helping others. He touched many lives with his beautiful spirit. Drove truck for M&M Concrete, Krebs and Laufer Trucking. Life will never be the same without “Dan the Man” on the Job. He is deeply missed he’s in heaven tinkering now. Dan did not want a service at a funeral home. He wants a party to celebrate his life at the Windover.
