Harriet Murphy Berry, 104 years old, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Agnes and Timothy Murphy, died in Indianapolis November 22, 2009. Her husband Norb preceded her in death in 1994 after 65 years of marriage. She will be sorely missed by her family, Tom (Maripat) Berry, Anne (Bob) Woulfe, Joan (Larry) Ledebur, and Judy (Al) Sumner and her 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She received compassionate care in Indianapolis over the past 15 years from the staff of Marquette Manor, Clearwater Commons and St. Vincent Hospice. Harriet had a BA from University of Wisconsin and a Masters from Marquette University. She was a social worker in a variety of endeavors with Milwaukee County. She was an avid floral and vegetable gardener and traveled extensively. Visitation will be Saturday, November 28, at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will also be held on Saturday December 5 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport with Rev. Neil Zinthefer officiating and interment will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery in Campbellsport, Wisconsin.
