Lawrence “Larry” W. Hackbarth, age 50, of the Town of Balck Wolf formerly of 7th Street Fond du Lac died Friday Dec, 25, 2009 at home. He was born December 30, 1958 in Milwaukee, the son of Lester and Rose Dieringer Hackbarth. He was confirmed in the 1973 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1977. He was united in marriage to Shari Martin on March 4, 1978 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on July 16, 2007. He worked for Carew Concrete and in construction and previously as a semi driver at Lone Elm Sales in Van Dyne. Larry enjoyed deer and squirrel hunting, musky fishing and was a Brett Favre fan. He loved to work on cars. Survivors include his parents, three sons: William Lee of Fond du Lac, twins Michael David of Fond du Lac and Carl (Sara) and their sons: Keegan Wallace and Rowan Joseph of Milwaukee, one daughter AmyJo Marie of Fond du Lac, one sister Kathleen (Kenneth) Groeschel of St. Peter, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Dec. 30, 2009 at 7:00P M at the Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Avenue in Fond du Lac with the Deacon Michael G. Hackbarth officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will follow with burial to take place in the spring at the Ledgeview Memorial Park.
