Gordon E. “Pete” Rohlfs, 75, of Eden went to his heavenly home on Sat. Dec. 26, 2009 with his beloved family gathered with him at his home. He was born on May 3, 1934 in the Town of Forest the son of Edward and Esther Grahl Rohlfs. On Aug 21, 1965 Gordon married Mary Jane Immel at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dotyville. They farmed together in the Town of Forest. He was a member of the Empire Threshing Assoc. and the Dotyville Drifters Snomobile Club. Pete enjoyed tractors and farm equipment, driving his truck to check out the neighborhood and going to his grandchildren’s baseball games. Survivors include his son John of Eden, his daughters Gail (Tim) Lindsley of Campbellsport, Julie (Tim) Narges of Eden, Jody (Kyle) Wondra of Campbellsport and Gena (Greg) Schwarz of Eden, his grandchildren Brittany, Austin, Nick and Shayley Narges, Gracie Schwarz and Ty Lindsley, his mother-in-law Alice Immel of Mt. Calvary, his sisters Gloria (Edward) Loehr of Dotyville and Helen (Don) Meyer of Fond du Lac, his special friend Bev Middleton, his dog Red, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane on Dec. 14, 1987, his parents, his granddaughter Emma, his brother Norman and his father-in-law Gordon Immel. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Dec. 30, 2009 at 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
