Sister Loretta Ruskamp, SSSF, “Sister Marianus” 86, passed away Sat. Jan. 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Aug. 21, 1923 in Dodge, NE the daughter of the late John and Mary Throener Ruskamp. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1940 and professed her vows on June 21, 1942. She served her community as a teacher a various community missions. Sister Loretta was the beloved cousin of Sr. Catherine Ruskamp and Sr. Elizabeth Ruskamp. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 69 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thur. Jan. 21, 2010 at 10:15 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery Campbellsport. Visitation will be Thur. from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at St. Joseph Convent. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the School Sisters of St. Francis are appreciated. www.twohigfunerals.com
