Diane “Lady Di” Hoffman, 62, of Eden was called to her heavenly home Thursday Jan. 21, 2010 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on April 26, 1947 in Eden the daughter of the late William and Martha Kaehne Essmann. Diane worked at the West Bend Comp. for 24 years. She married Dick Lucas on May 3, 1975 at the Church of Peace and he passed away on May 31, 1984. Then on Nov. 27, 1987 she married Jerry Hoffman at the Church of Peace. Survivors include her husband Jerry, four step children Christopher (Summer) Hoffman, Jessica (Adam) Kopischke, Debbie Dornbusch and Sharon Schotthoefer, six grandchildren Cory and Aaron L’Ecuyer, Cheyenne and Logan Hoffman, Jacob Hoffman and her pride and joy her granddaughter Sarah Jean Dornbusch, her brother William (Patricia) Essmann, four nephews Peter (Theresa), Andy, Tom (Penny) and Matthew (Carolyn), her mother-in-law Marge Hoffman, her father-in-law Marv Hoffman (special freind Lori ), her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jim (Mary) Hoffman, David Hoffman, Rose Barth and Barb (Mark) Mueller, lots of friends and her good neighbors. Per Diane’s wishes there will be graveside services held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Empire Cemetery (located on Hwy UU South of Hwy H in the Town of Empire).
