Kenneth L. Buehner, 89, of Fond du Lac went to his heavenly home on Jan. 24, 2010 at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born in the town of Osceola on Sept. 2, 1920 the son of George and Cecelia Calvey Buehner.. Ken graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in 1939. On May 29, 1976 he married Marcella E. Pieper at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Forest. He farmed in the Town of Osceola until he moved to Fond du Lac in 1963. He then was employed by Wm. C. Bauman truck and bus Service in Campbellsport for 20 years a semi-trucker driver. He retired on March 30, 1984. He then drove part-time for Timmon/Perron Trucking of Campbellsport for 10 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and served on the board of Stewardship and of Deacons. Survivors include 3 step children: Myron Pieper of Fond du Lac, Duane (Linda) Pieper of Campbellsport and Donna (Vernon) Muench of Fond du Lac, 11 step grandchildren, many step great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marcella on July 16, 2000, one step daughter Bette Gillard, one step grandson Scott Pieper and one step daughter-in-law Corrine Pieper. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Jan. 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Rev. Paul Kolander will officiate and burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Visitation will be Wed. Jan 27th from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
