William R. Benedict, 59, died Friday February 26, 2010 at home in Fond du Lac. He was born March 21, 1950 in Fond du Lac the son of the late Ralph and Dolores Kuether Benedict. On Feb. 23, 1999 he married Betty L. Arthurs in Fond du Lac. He was employed at Fond du Lac Reporter as an production assistant until the printing division moved to Appleton. Survivors include his wife Betty, three sons Lyle of Waupun, Justin of Mayville and Tom of Fond du Lac, one step son Davis (Jean) Tosh of Fond du Lac and eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, special friend Mary Armfield of Fond du Lac and two brothers-in-law Gerald (Kathleen) Armfield and Robert Armfield both of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, Private family services will be held at a later date. The Twohig Funeral Home of Fond du Lac is assisting the family with the arrangements.
