Marie T. Ewerdt, 82, of Fond du Lac passed away Friday Mar. 12, 2010 at the Woodlands Senior Park Assisted Living Facility in Fond du Lac with her family gathered around her. She was born on March 26, 1927 in Shawano, WI the daughter of the late Jacob and Wilhemena Dechefski Krenn. She retired from Wells Manufacturing where she worked most of her life. She enjoyed bowling, her card playing club, golfing, puzzles and the Green Bay Packers. She was extremely active and vibrant throughout her life. Survivors include her three sons: Karl (Kathie), Donald (Deborah) and Gary (Lynn) Ewerdt, 5 daughters: Marilyn (Gary) Stephany, Sharon (Roger) Gindt, Kathy (Jack) Schintgen, Debbie Richie and Susan (Ralph) Joseph, 28 grandchildren: Chris(Christine) Ewerdt, JD, Malcome, Lola and Cooper Ewerdt, Jennifer Ewerdt, Bradley (Joseph Brooks) Ewerdt, Nicole (Adonis) Fredrickson, Matthew Ewerdt, Gary (Anne) Stephany, Jr, Victoria (Shawn) Schoenberg, Lesley (Christopher) Mace, Duane Miller, Brian (Lori) Miller, Jodi (Pat) Rohloff, Kris (Steve) Armstrong, John Schintgen, James (Heather) Schintgen, Joel and Julie Schintgen, Joy (Grant) Littlefield, Angela (Dane) Sternecker, Sarah (James) Tankovich, Jacqueline, Michelle, Justin and Amy Ritchie. She is further survived by her great grandchildren: Abigale Stephany, Caleb and Jacob Schoenberg, Kyle and Lauren Mace, Trina Kannegaard, Karley Miller, Logan Miller, Paige Rohloff, Eric Armstrong, Kevin Armstrong, Stephanie and Andy Armstrong, Gage Ewerdt, Cade Ewerdt, Cole Ewerdt, Sophie Littlefield, Gavin, Colin, Haylee Sennate and Eva Schintgen, Kyler Kaufeld, Xavier Salaja, Brandon Tankovich, Attila Tankovich, Gelendon Sternecker and Owen Sternecker and one great great grandchild Amber Armstrong, one brother Andrew Krenn and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Leonard, Lawrence and Gerald Krenn, one sister Agnes Kurth and one grandson Scott Schintgen. A Private Time of Gathering was held the Twohig Funeral Home in Fond du Lac. Memorials are appreciated to Hospice Hope or the charity of your choice.
