Gerald E. Polzean, 70, of Campbellsport passed away unexpectedly at St. Agnes Hospital on Friday March 12, 2010. He was born on July 22, 1939 in Campbellsport the son of Emil and Mary Timler Polzean. On Dec. 9, 1972 he married Mary Ann Mathieu at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Jerry worked at Mill Tool in West Bend and then at Mercury Racing in Fond du Lac until retiring. Jerry was a member of St. Matthew’s Church, the Dundee Mill Park Assoc., the Empire Threshing Assoc., the Dundee Sportsman Club and Rolling Rim Buggy Club. Jerry loved horses, threshing shows and tractor shows Survivors include his beloved wife Mary, his daughters Lisa (Scott) Olig and Dawn (Anthony) Haliwell, his grandson Anthony John, his sister Shirley (Richard) Campagna-Patin, his brother-in-law Raymond “Butch” (Mary Ellen) Mathieu, his sister-in-law Diane (Gene) Peters, his nephews and nieces Michael Dean (Mary) Campagna, Darin (Brenda) Campagna, Tim (Melissa) Peters, Kelly (Rich) Kratz and Kim Peters, his aunts Uralia Kaehne (also his Godmother), Bernice Timler, Mary Ann Timler, and Nancy Timler, his uncle George Skwierawski, other relatives and many friends He was preceded by his parents and his in-laws Roger and Luella Mathieu. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday March 16th at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery on Wednesday. Visitation will be Tuesday March 16th from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the church.
