Debra Ann (Sklener) Floeter, 58, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac, after a short and brave fight against cancer. She was born January 24, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Donald W. and Dolores R. (Schill) Sklener. Debra attended St. Matthews Grade School, Campbellsport, and was a 1971 graduate of Campbellsport High School. She attended Columbia School of Nursing, Milwaukee, and real estate training seminars. She had past employment in nursing care and real estate sales in the Fond du Lac area. On May 5, 1973, she married Howard Floeter at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Campbellsport, and lived her married life in Fond du Lac. Debra had volunteered many hours at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, and was past Parish Council President and Home and School Association President. She enjoyed cooking, crafts and crocheting, socializing, the internet, books and music, was artistic, liked to travel, and loved her precious grandson. Surviving are her husband, Howard; one daughter, Genasis (Anthony) Phillips and one grandchild, Russell, all of Chicago; her mother, Dolores Sklener of Campbellsport; her sister, Dawn (James) Feeney; niece, Zara Feeney and nephew, Orion Feeney, all of Thousand Oaks, CA; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her father preceded her in death on February 18, 2010. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate. Visitation: Family and friends may call at the Twohig funeral Home 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport from 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, until a 6:30 PM. Internment will be at St. Matthew Cemetery, Campbellsport, the following day. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of Hope or the American Cancer Society.
