Richard D. Becker, 75, of Dundee passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at his home. He was born in Wauwatosa on March 21, 1935 the son of Harvey and Emily Wickett Becker. Dick served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955 as a paratrooper during the Korean War. On Nov. 30, 1957, he married Joan Brown at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. Dick worked for West Bend Equipment, Regalware and Kettle Moraine Corrections before retiring. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, Eden and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife Joan, his children Jim (Maureen) Becker of Fond du Lac, Joe (fiancée Liz) Becker of Manitowoc, John Becker of Dundee and Jessica Raul of Madison, his grandchildren Justin, Cameron, Brent, Elizabeth, Meghan, Jacob and Alex, his brothers Mike (Kay) Becker of Portage and David (Kathy) Becker of Merrill, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, step-mother Sophia and his sister Margo. Family services with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 30, 2010 at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is serving the family.
