Joyce L. Teichmiller, 79 of Fond du Lac died Wed April 28, 2010 surrounded by her family at All About Life Rehab Center in Fond du Lac after a short bout of cancer. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on Nov. 4, 1930 the daughter of Carl and Frieda Franz Thiede. She graduated from Juneau High School in 1948. She married Alfred “Bud” Teichmiller on November 5, 1949 in Fond du Lac at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Fond du Lac and then Oakfield VFW Women’s Auxiliary, a former member of the Blue Line Hockey and the Mustang Club. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved to watch the Sound of Music. Survivors include her 3 sons: Robin(Karen) of Fond du Lac, Terry(Cheryl) of Fond du Lac, Scott(JoJo) of North Fond du Lac, 2 daughters: Lori (Rodney) Dewitz of North Fond du Lac and Penny (Rick) Jaloszynski of Fond du Lac, 8 grandchildren: Katie Horn, Brad, Tim and Travis Teichmiller, Kyle, Mike and Ryne Dewitz and Breanna Jaloszynski, 1 brother-in-law Harold Kane of North Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends and 2 special “breakfast friends”: Joan and Rosie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfred “Bud” on March 24, 1984, 1 brother Donald Thiede and 1 sister Dorothy Kane. A special thanks to the staff and therapy department at All About Life Rehab Center for the care that they gave to our mother and an extra special thanks to Connie, Lola, MaryAnn and Bonnie. Funeral Services will be Sunday May 2, 2010 at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Arthur Callies officiating at the Twohig Funeral Home at 305 Fond du Lac Avenue in Fond du Lac. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 6:00PM. Burial will take place on Monday May 3rd at 9:30 AM at the Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac Memorials are appreciated.
