Sister Emmalin Recker, SSSF 103, passed away Wed. April 28, 2010 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Sept. 21, 1906 in Raeville, Nebraska the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Lampman Recker. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 21, 1923 and professed her vows on August 25, 1925. Sister served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Emmalin is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 87 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday May 3, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
