Sister Marie Hodapp, SSSF, 88, passed away on Thursday May 6, 2010 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. She was born in Westphalia, Iowa on April 18, 1922 the daughter of the late Bernard and Anna Rosmann Hodapp. Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1940 and professed her vows on June 21, 1942. Sister served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Marie is survived by her sisters Marge (Bernard) Kennedy of Sioux Falls and Rita Mueller of Waukesha, WI, her niece Sister Lee Agnes Hodapp, SSSF of Fremont, NE, other nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 70 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday May 10, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
