Marion Frances Bottkol Guell formerly of Fond du Lac entered eternal life on Friday June 18, 2010 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born on May 20, 1918 in Town of Empire the daughter of Peter and Gertrude Kiersten Schneider. She married John L. Bottkol on May 29, 1937 at St. Joseph’s Church, Fond du Lac. John preceded her in death on June 1, 1968. On June 21, 1969 she married Ralph Guell at St. Joseph’s Church, Fond du Lac. Ralph preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1988. Family was very important to Marion and she also enjoyed gardening, traveling, golf and bridge. Marion was a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include one son Richard James Bottkol, one daughter-in-law Barbara Patrie, four grandchildren Steve Bottkol, Dennis (Sue) Bottkol, John (Nicky) Bottkol and Lisa (Jeff) Foord Markofski, ten step children James (Peggy) Guell , Thomas (Carol) Guell, Richard (Linda) Guell, Michael (Denise) Guell, Daniel (Kathy) Guell, Theodore (Judy) Guell, Peter (Peggy) Guell, Joyann (Gary) Stewart, Suellen (Dale) Bakkela and Paula (Steve) Bruns, one sister Estelle Minter, forty-seven step grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, one son John Edward Bottkol, one brother Ambrose and two sisters Lucinda and Virgilia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 22nd at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish St. Mary’s Church 63 E. Merrill Street Rev. Luke Strand will Officiate and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of mass at the church. A memorial has been established.
