William “Bill” L. Meyer, 73, of Waupun died Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Waupun Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1937 in Theresa the son of the late Leonard and Goldie Luedtke Meyer. He graduated from West Bend High School in 1955. He married Joan Roecker on Sept. 10, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. He was a mechanic at F & I Equipment in West Bend until his retirement in 2003. His family was very important to him, and it was said that “ Papa could fix everything and anything.” . Survivors include his wife Joan of 49 years, one son Russ (Juli) of Kewaskum and one daughter Kelly (Angelo) Scholten of Waupun, four grandchildren: Garrett and Carly Meyer and Haley and Hannah Scholten, three brothers: Leonard Jr. of Kewaskum, Roger (Patricia) of Cherokee Village, AR and Lee (Markie) of Germantown, one brother-in-law Lee Ihde of Appleton, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Shirley Ihde. At Bill’s request, private services will be held at a later date.
