John Harold Gudex

John Harold Gudex, 76, of Campbellsport passed away Monday July 26, 2010 at St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on July 9, 1934 in the Town of Eden the son of Samuel and Lorena Majerus Gudex. He was a 1953 graduate of Campbellsport High School. On June 26, 1954 he married Lou Ann Jordan at the United Brethren Church in Lomira. They farmed in the Town of Ashford until retiring. John was a former member of the Campbellsport United Church of Christ and the Salem United Church of Christ church boards. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife Lou Ann, his children Diane (Dan) Becker of Fond du Lac, Mary (Jeff) Steger of Campbellsport, Betty (Steve) Wiskow of Fond du Lac, Debra (Ralph) Kroll of Ava, MO, Kenneth (Valene) of Iron Ridge and Steven of Eden, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, his sisters Marie Sabish of Campbellsport and Johanna Runge of Fond du Lac, his brothers Sam (Beatrice) of Campbellsport and Norman of West Bend, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Julienne Smith, Norbert Theisen, Florence Jordan, Sharon and Walter Spradau, Majorie Jahn, Joe and Jane Seis and Judy and Jim Geib, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Lorena, his brother Loren, his sister Viola Gellings and his in-laws Frank and Alice Jordan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 29th at 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. H. David Flegel will officiate and burial will be Friday at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Assoc. or the Diabetes Foundation. Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is serving the family.
