Robert A. Campagna, 80, of Fond du Lac passed away October 27, 2010 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born on January 1, 1930 in Harlemville, New York to the late Michael and Bridget Campagna. Robert is one of 8 children. He married Bena DalleNogare on Nov. 27, 1948. Robert worked at Stella Cheese in Campbellsport for 30 years. They ran Mr.C’s (now the Campbellsport Inn) for 3 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, picking up aluminum cans, dumpster diving and the years they lived in St. Germain. He is survived by his wife Bena, his sons Robert (Nancy) of Campbellsport, Mark of Fond du Lac and Thomas (Linda) of Campbellsport, his grandchildren Carrie, Lori, Trisha, Gino, Travis, Stacy (Dan), Mike, Shelly and Hedda and his great grandchildren Emilie, Hunter, Morgan, Erich, Quinten, Natalie, Draven and Hayley. Robert is further survived by his brother Dick (Grace) Campagna of Campbellsport, his brother-in-law John DalleNogare of Lomira, his sister-in-law Lena Paleologo of Magnolia, TX, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Bridget, 1 sister Lucy Pavone and 5 brothers Tony, Joe, Rocco, Angelo and Mike. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Tk K Fond du Lac. Rev. Vic Capriolo will officiate and entombment will follow. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 until time of service at the mausoleum.
