Lorraine Loretta Hutter, 75 of Fond du Lac, passed away Sat. Oct. 30, 2010, surrounded by her family at Hospice Home of Hope. Lorraine was born November 1, 1934 in the town of Suring, WI the daughter of Jesse and Anna Krenn Scott. On November 3, 1951 Lorraine married Oliver Hutter. She was employed for several years at Wells Manufacturing, Red Owl Deli and for 8 years at T&D Jewelry Sales. Lorraine was a loving wife, devoted mother and faithful grandmother. Her family meant the world to her and she loved spending time with them in many ways. Lorraine was also a mother to many foster children and was always there to help anyone she could. Lorraine loved to be outdoors and enjoyed gardening and tending to her many varieties of flowers and plants. In her spare time she enjoyed going on trips to casinos and enjoyed numerous camping trips with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time cooking and baking for her family and friends and watching Packer games with her husband. Lorraine is survived by her husband Oliver of 59 years, one son Thomas (Debra) Hutter of Eldorado, one granddaughter Heather (Joel) Hollander of Ripon, one sister Ruth Hall of Nebraska, foster/adoptive daughter Barb Miller of Fond du Lac, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her loyal canine companion Callie. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Leo Scott and 2 sisters: Illa Krueger and Marie Pierce A private remembrance for Lorraine will be observed by the immediate family members. Memorials and donations can be directed in Lorraine’s name to the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
