Francis O. “Casey” Loomis, 72, of Campbellsport passed away Tuesday Dec. 7, 2010 at all About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. He was born on Nov. 8, 1938 the son of Herbert and Phyllis Woitekaitis Loomis. He was a 1957 graduate of Kewaskum High School and was in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 serving in Korea. He worked at Weasler Engineering and for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. On July 10, 1965 he married Donna Loehr at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dotyville. He was a former member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. He enjoyed anything to do with railroads, reading books, friendly discussions with the neighbors and spending time with his dogs. Survivors include his son Rick (Penny) Loomis of Elkhorn, his daughter Tracey (special friend Dan) Moore of Appleton, his grandsons Austin and Colton, his former wife Donna, his brother James, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Dec. 8th at 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will be Friday in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. Vistitation will be Wed.
