Sister Alda Riesgraf, SSSF 92, passed away Saturday Dec. 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. She was born on Dec. 6, 1918 in Carver Minnesota, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Huss Riesgraf. On June 13, 1935 she joined the School Sisters of St. Francis and professed her vows on Aug. 12, 1937. Sister Alda served her community as a nursing assistant at various community missions. Sister Alda is survived by her sister Sabina Blatzof St. Paul, MN, her brother Severin (Rosella) Riesgraf of New Prague, MN and her cousin Sister Jean Becker, SSSF. Sister is further survived by other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 75 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Dec. 16, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
