Christina V. Tallman, 92 of Fond du Lac, passed away Mon. Dec. 20, 2010 at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born in Minnesota on Aug. 17, 1918 the daughter of the late Henry and Wilhelmina Ruesink Vis. Christina enjoyed spending time with her family, working on plastic canvas and pastel painting. She and her husband Ellsworth enjoyed travel in the West during their retirement in their travel trailer. She was a member of the Grace Reformed Church in Fond du Lac. Survivors include her 2 daughters: Joanne Tallman of Fond du Lac and Judy (Michael) Powell of Horicon, 1 grandson Michael Schears of Fond du Lac, one sister Gladys Gogert of Lovelock, NV, one brother Wally Vis of Alto, 2 sister-in-laws: Betty Vis of Theresa and Wilma Vis of Brandon, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands Lester and Ellsworth Tallman, one grandson Daniel Schears, 3 brothers: Bill, John and Bernie.
