Margaret E Guell, 86, of Campbellsport, left this world peacefully on December 25, 2010. She had the perfect Christmas, spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with her children and grandchildren by her side, and Christmas night with her deceased family in heaven. She was born February 25, 1924, to George H and Viola (Merjay) Scannell. On September 29, 1945, she married the love of her life, Allen H Guell at Our Lady of Angels Church in Armstrong. Margaret graduated from Fond du Lac High School. In her younger years, she enjoyed baseball and bowling. Before building her life with her family, she worked in her dad’s cheese factory. She was a life time member of Our Lady of Angels Parish in Armstrong, and later Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish. During her married life, she helped on the farm and went on various vacations. Margaret belonged to the We Love to Dance Club, the Ladies’ Altar Society, Green Shirt Ladies’ Club, Country Club Western Dancers, and since Allen’s death, Saturday morning Coffee Club with her family. She loved cooking, baking, playing cards, especially Rummy and Sheepshead, babysitting her grandchildren, and more recently, playing Bingo with her family. Survivors include her four daughters, Barbara Ketter (Howard Goldstein), Betty (Gene) Heltemes, Bev (Tom) Dickmann, and Brenda (John) Klotz; two sons, Bill (JoAnn) Guell and Bob (Elaine) Guell; grandchildren, Shelly (Dean) Gassner, Troy (Kristine) Ketter, Lisa (Billy) Timblin, Gina (Bob) Baker, Dean (Sarah) Heltemes, Lorri Guell, Kristy Guell, Kari (Rick) Dreikosen, Amy (Bill) Lackas, Mike Feuerhammer, Jason (Chelsea) Klotz, Stephanie Klotz, Katie Klotz (Dan Strean), and Kelley Klotz; step-grandchildren Michele (Brian) Wix, Rochele Wiese (Brian Cramer), Matt (Jenni) Wiese, Dennis (Maria) Dickmann, Leslie Dickmann, Jeremy (Tess) Dickmann, and Eve Dickmann; great-grandchildren, Zach, Tyler, and Megan Gassner, Adam and Ethan Ketter, Alex, Ben, Jack, and Calvin Baker, Collin, Taylor, Braden, and Blake Heltemes, Will Halbach, Brenna and Carter Kreis, Joey and Jack Dreikosen, Hayden and Ava Lackas, Allen and Porter Klotz, and another great-grandson Klotz expected in January; step-great-grandchildren Kyle and Kolton Serwe and Tanner and Talon Wix, Chelsy Wiese and Chase Cramer, Jaden, Brennan, and Braxton Wiese, Kjersti, Anthony, and Anna Dickmann; brothers Tom Scannell and Bob (Bunny) Scannell; sisters-in-law Patricia Scannell, June Twohig, Betty Scannell, Marlene Schellpfeffer, and Rose Guell. Margaret is resting in peace with her husband Allen Guell, her parents, her grandson Nick Klotz, her son-in-law Phil Ketter, her step-grandson Michael Wiese, her sisters Florence Twohig and Mary Twohig, her brothers Leo Scannell, Jim Scannell and an infant brother, her brothers-in-law James B Twohig, John F Twohig, Gordon Guell, Willard Schellpfeffer, and Richard Hornburg II, her sisters-in-law Elaine Scannell, Marcella Scannell, Laverne Hornburg, and Jean Hornburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 29, at 7:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Cty. Rd. B, Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis and Rev. Charles Wester will officiate. Private entombment will be Thursday at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, at Shepherd of the Hills Church from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. The family would especially like to thank Aimee Manke and Marlys Belden for helping us out with our mother and making her feel so special, the wonderful Agnesian Hospice staff for their guidance and support, and Above and Beyond Care Solutions for all their help. Margaret was a very special person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
