Jane R. Tonn, 85, of Campbellsport passed away Saturday Jan. 8, 2011 at home surrounded by family. She was born in the Town of Eden on Jan. 2, 1926 to Francis and Dora Gremminger Flood. On June 16, 1948 she married Darwin Tonn at St. James Catholic Church, Eden. They farmed together in the Town of Ashford retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport. She belonged to the Ethan Allen Community Club and the Christian Mothers of St. Matthew’s Church. She enjoyed mowing lawn, gardening, the Packers, the Brewers, the Badgers, bingo and sheepshead. She is survived by her husband Darwin, her daughter Doreen (Francis) Ruplinger, her grandchildren Gary, Adam (special friend Jenny Kostroski) and Danielle Ruplinger, her sisters-in-law Marion Flood, Gladys Flood, Shirley Butzke, Darlene Kuehl and Virginia Tonn, very special nieces Carol Goebel, Mary Majerus, Karen Thrall and Linda Kraus and many more treasured nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Gary, her granddaughter Sarah Ruplinger, her sister Bernice Majerus, her brothers Vernon and Jerome “Jerry” Flood ,her infant siblings Francis, Joseph and Elizabeth Flood, her brothers-in-law Bob Majerus, Ronald Tonn, Elmer Kuehl and Ray Butzke and nephews Daryl Tonn, Allen Flood and John Flood. Visitation will be Tuesday Jan. 11th from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday Jan. 11th at 7:30 PM at St. Mattthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden at a later date. Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Matthew’s Church, Campbellsport.
