David Lee Wildes

May 3, 1955 — February 1, 2011

David Lee Wildes “Crockett” of Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 1, 2011. He was born on May 3, 1955 in Milwaukee to Edwin and Florence (Cihasky) Wildes. David grew up in Cedarburg and after high school migrated north a bit to work at horse ranches in the Kettle Moraine area. David was later employed as a roofer and was always busy working on home remodeling projects and/or projects on his hobby farm. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed assistance with a house project. He was an avid fisherman and loved being in the outdoors. Among other things he will be remembered for his ability to work with horses, especially horses considered to wild to train. David is survived by his mother Florence of Eden, his sister Bonita (Tom) Eiring of Campbellsport, four brothers James (Kathy) of Fond du Lac, Brad (Linda) of Winter, WI, Don (Cathy) of Florida and Ron of California, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Wildes. A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held this summer. Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com.
