Sister Mary Severina Sondag, SSSF, 88, passed away Tuesday Feb. 7, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on Nov. 27, 1922 the daughter of the late Theodore and Helen Peterson Sondag. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1941 and professed her vows on June 21, 1943. Sister served her community as a seamstress and a receptionist at various community missions. Sister Mary Severina is survived her sister Joyce Sondag of Des Moines, Iowa, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 70 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Feb. 10, 2011 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
