Sister Kathleen Masur, SSSF, 102, passed away Tuesday Feb. 8, 2011 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born April 11, 1908 in Geddes, South Dakota the daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Ambroz Masur. Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 12, 1929 and professed her vows on August 19, 1930. Sister Kathleen served her community as a Nurse’s Aide and a receptionist at various community missions. Sister Kathleen is survived her sister Wilma Smith of Brentwood, CA, her brother Eugene F. Masur of Madison, NE, other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 82 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Feb. 11, 2011 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
