Anita P. Geib (nee’ Kuether) died Saturday, February 19, 2011 after a brief illness. Born on March 7, 1927 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Karl A. Kuether and Amelia K. Kuether (nee’ Grebe), of Fond du Lac. She was a 1945 graduate of Goodrich High School and worked at Infant Socks Factory until her marriage in 1952 to Robert P. Geib. She then worked in the family business, Geib Glass and Paint, Bob Geib Glass, and later, Geib Glass Co. in sales and accounting. She also worked as a nursing assistant at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home until she retired. As a young woman, she liked baseball and roller skating and she was a skilled bowler throughout her life often participating in fund-raising events for charity, such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She was creative and an amateur sketch artist. Anita is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Lee Kolehouse, sons Michael, David (Katherine), Daniel, Craig (Ramona), and daughter Sandra Rae together with seven grandchildren: Jaimi Allers (James), Kelly Luedtke (Joseph), Anthony Wright (Terri), Amy Geib-Priessnitz (Chad), Megan Geib, Benjamin Geib and Travis Geib, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gloriann Meyn (Kenneth), their daughter Katherine, brother Franklin Kuether, (Lucille). Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and four brothers. Funny, beautiful, caring, charming with a dramatic flair, Anita is a most beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, February 22 at 1PM Ledgeview Cemetery in Fond du Lac arranged by Twohig Funeral Services.
