Loraine Brown, 93, formerly of Eden passed away Tuesday March 15, 2011 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on Aug. 2, 1917 in the Town of Byron the daughter of the late John and Rose Flood Dyer. On Nov. 12, 1938 she married Robert J. Brown at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron. Loraine worked at the former Mammoth Springs Canning Factory in Eden. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish, St. Mary’s Women’s Society and the Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include her daughters Barbara (Richard) Behnke of North Fond du Lac and Mary Beth (Raymond) Serwe of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Teri (Greg) Lampe, Tom (Sherry) Behnke, Todd Behnke, Tami Jo (Mike) Larson, Ann Marie (Terry) Stolp, Lynn Marie (David) Trinkner and Suzanne Marie Serwe, her great grandchildren Julia, Jenna, Ryan, Riley, Elijah, Emerson, Grace and Mason, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on Dec. 15, 2001, three brothers and three sisters A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday March 17th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 AM until time of mass at the church. Memorials are appreciated to Shepherd of the Hills or the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
