Mary Helen Timblin Crofts, 82, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Wed. June 15, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fond du Lac on June 2, 1929 the daughter of the late George and Veronica Braun Timblin. On Oct. 7, 1950 she married the love of her life, Robert Sidney Crofts, at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. They shared 57 wonderful years together. Mary was a strong woman of faith and prayer. Her family was deeply important to her. She was a loving wife and helpmate to her husband Bob, a wonderful mom, grandma, homemaker and caretaker. She blessed many lives in her family, church, and community through her unconditional love and acts of kindness. Mary worked in the Records Department at St. Agnes Hospital shortly after High school, and served as a volunteer at St. Agnes in later years. Bob and Mary farmed together in the Town of Empire until 1962 and then in the Town of Osceola until 2000. Bob and Mary moved from the farm to Eden in 1988. From 2005-2011, Mary resided at the loving community of St. Francis Terrace in Fond du Lac. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Parish. Mary and Bob loved to travel together in earlier years and Mary was an avid Brewer’s fan. Survivors include her daughters Maureen “Mickey” (Bob) Brault of Fond du Lac, Sue (John) Ellison of Oconomowoc and Anne (Todd) Young of Holmen, her sons Rob (special friend Holly) of Armstrong, Steve(fiancée Tammy) of Eden and Jeff (Becky) of Eden, her daughter-in-law Linda Crofts of Eden, her grandchildren Lucas(Myriam) and Jacob Brault, Jamie (Chris) Allen, Sarah (Jason) Sarchet, Mark (Jenn) Gantner, Matt Gantner, J.R. and Sam Ellison, Jimmer, Joe, Julie and Jenna Crofts, Robbie(Angie) Crofts, Michael Crofts, Tyler and Sarena Young, Mitchell and Mandy Gonzalez, and Kya and Abigail Crofts, her great grandchildren Tait, Grayson, Ellie and Emmett Allen and Caden and Kylie Sarchet, Colin and MaCenna Crofts, her brother Bill (Marianne) Timblin of Fond du Lac and sister-in-law Carole Timblin of Kewaskum, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son James and her brother Henry. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Fri. Jun. 17 at 6:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will follow St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden. Visitation will be Fri. June 17 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Home Chapel at 33 Everett Street in Fond du Lac and at the Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church from 3 PM until 6 PM.
