Gilbert F. Walsh, age 74 passed away peacefully at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac on Friday July 15, 2011. He was born on January 25, 1937 the son of Lawrence and Virginia Nast Walsh. In his younger years he worked as a general laborer at the Marblehead Quarry and Rademan Stone. Gilbert is survived by his three sisters: Margaret Newberry of Milwaukee, Marilyn Lefeber of Mt. Calvary and Shirley Hinkley of North Fond du Lac, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister Mary. Family graveside services will be held at 9AM Thursday July 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Eden. Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, is serving the family.
