John W. Glasgow, 75, of Fond du Lac went to his heavenly home on Mon. Aug. 15, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bloomington, IN on March 26, 1936 the son of the late Mose L. and Velma Goin Glasgow. On June 18, 1995 he married Nancy Halfmann in Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife Nancy,three sons: Scott, Shawn and Shannon Glasgow, three step daughters: Rebecca (Richard) Koenig of Chippewa Falls, Rachel (Michael) Kern of Redgranite and Jamy (Cory) Rilling of Fond du Lac, 8 grandchildren, one brother Joe(Judy) Glasgow, 6 sisters: Rosemary Blackwell, Margaret (Harold) Weaver, Alice Mae Hare, Edna Sue Hammock, Linda Sue (J.D.) Jackson and Brenda (Malcolm) Glasgow nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents, one brother Don and one sister EmmaGene. A Time of Gathering will be held on Sat. August 20, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church at 55 Prairie Road Fond du Lac from 1PM until 5PM use the South entrance.
