William E. Kamin, 62, of Cascade (Chinatown) passed away Friday August 19, 2011 as a result of injuries from an auto accident. He was born in Menominee, MI on March 3, 1949 the son of Cliff and Mary Ellen Balazo Kamin. He served in the U. S. Marine Corp from 1967 to 1969 including a tour of duty in Vietnam. On November 5, 1971 Bill married Karen A. Monville in Milwaukee. He was a member of the American Legion Post #243 in Plymouth and the Wisconsin Street Rod Assoc. Bill enjoyed fishing, Nascar, cars, football pools and his home on Long Lake. Survivors include his beloved wife Karen, his children Julie (Travis) Heintz of Hortonville, Donald (Kristin) Kamin of Sheboygan and Robert (Melissa) Kamin of Kuntz, TX, eleven grandchildren, his brother Cliff (Gloria) Kamin of Stevens Point, his sisters Debbie Gerber of Waukesha and Carla (Kevin) Robers of Elkhorn, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary and his brother Andrew Balazo. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 24th at 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport with military rites to follow. Visitation will be Wed. from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
