Noreen R. Immel, 80, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Aug. 28, 2011 at the St. Francis Home. She was born in Freedom WI on Sept. 13, 1930 the daughter of Elmer and Carol Potter Day. On Aug. 19, 1953 she married Donald R. Immel at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church parsonage in the Town of Forest. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1997. Noreen retired from Tuckers after working there 20 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and it’s Ladies Aid. Noreen enjoyed playing cards and traveling to the casino to play bingo. She was known for her spunky attitude and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan. Survivors include three sons: Michael (Sue) Immel, Tom (special friend Chris Kaminski) Immel and Chuck Immel all of Fond du Lac, three daughters: Debra Immel, Cindy (Randy) Jagdfeld both of Fond du Lac and Wendie (Ross) Losse of Oshkosh, 7 grandchildren: Heather (Silas) McAghon, Patrick Immel, Shannon and Steven Williams, Amanda and Michael Losse and Erica Immel, 4 great grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 brothers: Chuck (MaryJane) Day and Gerald (Esther) Day both of Fond du Lac, 3 sisters-in-law: Bev Day, Grace Day and Mary Ann (George) Scott, 4 brothers-in-law: Carlos Marquez, Ollie Wendell, Maurice (Arlene) Immel and Danny (Pat) Immel, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald and two sons: James and Steven, 4 brothers: Robert, Ronald, John and Raymond Day and 3 sisters: Marion VanDyke, Jeanette Marquez and Loretta Wendell. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Aug. 31, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Rev. Brett Naumann and Rev. Matthew Reis will officiate and burial will be Thursday at 10AM at the Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed. Aug 31st from 3:00 PM until time of services at the church. Memorials are appreciated to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Building Fund or Hospice. The family would like to thank the St. Francis Home, Hospice, Rob’s Riverwood Salon, Rev.
