Mary Lenore Gillard

Mary Gillard, 92, was called to her eternal home on Tuesday Sept. 27, 2011 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on January 21, 1919 to the late Edward and Victoria (nee Meyers) Culp. She graduated from Greenwood High School and later married Chester Gillard in Neillsville, WI. They moved to Campbellsport in 1940 and while there she worked at Stella Cheese for four years and Regal Ware for thirty years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport and was an organist for eight years and on the Altar Guild for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and her four sons- Lawrence, Larry, James and Albert. She is survived by one daughter-in-law- Shirley Gillard, seven grandchildren- Claire (Duane) Cina, Vicki (Chet) Durham, Lori (Chuck) Roehl, Lorna (Chris) Hargarten, Kerry (Pedro) Lozano, Lynnette (Phil) Phillips and Brian (Melissa) Gillard, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday Oct. 1, 2011 from 10:00 AM until time of services at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Oct. 1st at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
