Kathleen A. Gerard, 46, of Van Dyne passed away peacefully of natural causes Monday Oct. 10, 2011 at home. She was born Feb. 6, 1965 in Harvard, IL the daughter of Edward and Bonnie Klaman Riley. She married Randy Gerard on Sept. 1, 1984 at the Community Church in Fontana. She worked as a cosmetologist at a variety of shops. She enjoyed gardening, singing especially karaoke. She loved her family and cooking, Kathy had a heart of gold. Survivors include her husband Randy, her father Edward Riley of Walworth, her mother Bonnie (Ronald) Liermann of Delevan, two sons: Tyler (Wendy) Gerard and Garick (Gabby) Gerard, one daughter Riley Gerard, three brothers: Donald and Jamie Riley of Delevan and Shawn (Malinda) Riley of Chicago, IL, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and her beloved Auntie. Memorial services will be held Sat. October 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Van Dyne Lions Park at 700 E. Lone Elm Road, Van Dyne 54979. Friends may call at the park from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorials appreciated to the family.
