Sister Kathryn Deermer, SSSF, “Sister Aidan”,95, passed away Thursday Oct. 27, 2011 at the St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. Sister was born on Feb. 28, 1916 in Stuart, NE the daughter of Alois and Theresa Schmaderer Deermer. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1934 and professed her vows on August 12, 1936. She served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Kathryn is survived by two brothers: Joe and George Derrmer of Stuart, NE, nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 77 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday Nov. 2, 2011 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
