Jesse Robert Hale, 78, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Monday Nov. 7, 2011 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born on May 6, 1933 in Freeburg, IL the son of the late Elmer and Marie (nee Anderson) Hale Schaer. Jesse served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 and he received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana using the GI Bill. He later attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI receiving a MBA degree. Jesse began his professional career working for Simonds Cutting Tools, a division of Wallace Murray Corp where he worked from 1962 to 1977. He later worked for Waukesha Cutting Tools, Detroit Broach and Machine, Management Recruiters in Chicago, IL, Impro Seal in Rock Island, IL, and Rule Industries in Glouchester, MA. He began his teaching career as an adjunct professor at Salem State College in Salem, MA and North Shore Community College in Lynn, MA. He later served as an instructor at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and as a professor at Western New England College in Springfield, MA. After coming to Wisconsin Jesse taught at Marian College in Fond du Lac and was Dean of Professional Studies at Mount Senario College in Ladysmith. Jess loved the theater, telling jokes, and teaching. He was an active member of the Lake Chapala Society in Mexico where he acted as Master of Ceremony for many events and produced plays. Survivors include his son Jesse Richard Hale and his children Joshua, Chelsea and Abigail, his daughter Jordene (David Rabinovitz) Hale and their daughters Sophia and Chana Rose, his special friend Antoinette Guenther, Antoinette’s children Aric (Jesslyn), Arthena (Richard), Amy Rae (Gary) and April (Matt) and Antoinette’s grandchildren.
