Steven A. Gerner, 60, of Fond du Lac went to his heavenly home on Mon. Nov. 7, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fond du Lac, on Dec. 15, 1950 the son of the late Emmett and Janice Diedrich Gerner. On June 19, 2006 he married Lisa Poole at the Volusia County Courthouse. Steve drove truck for TTI (Timblin Trucking Inc) for many years. He loved riding his Harley, fishing and his two pit bulls Chief and Cherokee. Survivors include his wife Lisa, one daughter Karmella (Mike) Ellis of Oklahoma, 2 grandchildren: Steve and Sara Ellis, three brothers: Gary (Jean) of Fond du Lac, David (Marlene) of Green Lake, and Jeffery of Fox Lake and two sisters: Jill (Edward) Dombrowski of Winneconne and Lori (Mark) Stewart of West Bend, special cousin Jerry Montgomery of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
