Eileen K. Shea, 89, formerly of the Town of Osceola a resident of Touchstone Living Center in North Fond du Lac passed away Tuesday Nov. 8, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born in the Town of Mitchell on Dec. 29, 1921 the daughter of the late John and Celia Grimes Scannell. She graduated from Sheboygan County Normal School in 1943 and taught at Rathburn for 4 years and at Armstrong for 4 years. On Sept. 7, 1946 she married Leo J. Shea at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, the Altar Society, the Rosary Club, Our Lady of Angels Choir, Emerald Heirs Irish Club and was a 4H Leader. Eileen took a special joy in her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren and her great grandson. Survivors include her sons William (Linda) Shea of Campbellsport and Tim Shea of Cottage Grove, her daughters Kathy (Tom) Theisen of Fond du Lac and Colleen Shea and Jeff Ebert of Manitowoc, her grandchildren Rachel and Dan Shea, Aaron, Ben and Gary Shea and Ryan and Alex Theisen, her great grandson Adrian Shea, her brother-in-law Paul Jung, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo on Aug. 31, 1985 and her sisters Laura Havey and Rosemary Jung. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Nov. 11th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Rd. B, Eden. Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Armstrong. Visitation will be Thursday Nov. 10th from 4 to 8 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Friday from 10 AM until time of mass at the church. Memorials are appreciated for Masses or to Father Mike Shea.
