Joseph C. Smith III, 69, of Fond du Lac passed away Dec. 12, 2011 at the Hospice Home of Hope . He was born on September 11, 1942 in Chattanooga, TN the son of the late Joseph C and Mary Frances Teeters Smith II. He married Margie (Fran) Watson on Oct. 23, 1969 in Bartow, FL. He was a truck driver for many years, some of the places he worked were Blue leasing and Kruepke Trucking in Jackson. He retired 10 years ago. Joseph is survived by a his wife Margie (Fran) Smith of Fond du Lac, a daughter Mary Crocker of Florida, three sons: David of Fond du Lac, Tim and Randy of FL and one brother Steve (Donna) Smith of AL, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. Per his request cremation has taken place and private family services. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
